Unemployment is a major development concern around the world where unemployed people is growing fast and Bangladesh in particular. In Bangladesh, two million young people enter the labor market every year, but many are either jobless or have irregular jobs. According to the Bangladesh Labour Force Survey, Bangladesh's youth unemployment rate (10.6 percent) is higher than the national unemployment rate (4.2 percent). Youths are 79.6 percent of the total unemployed population of Bangladesh, and this rate is increasing gradually. The Bangladeshi job market is measurably failed to create job opportunities for the growing workforce in this country. On the other hand, the Bangladeshi education system is not well-equipped to educate the youth with skill education. Bangladesh is moving forwards in becoming a developing country and targeted to be promoted as a developed country by 2041 and is also committed to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030; the government must ensure a decent income for its citizens by generating skill-based employment opportunities to achieve numerous SDG goals.
