VISION

To become a globally recognized center of excellence in interdisciplinary research, evidence-based decision-making, innovation, and entrepreneurship development that advances sustainable and climate-resilient development. Through cutting-edge research, rigorous impact evaluation, capacity and skill development, and innovative solutions, we aim to empower individuals, communities, institutions, and policymakers to address complex social, environmental, and development challenges.

Our vision is to foster inclusive, resilient, and sustainable livelihoods and improve the well-being of vulnerable populations affected by climate change, environmental degradation, and ecological fragility at local, national, and global scales.

MISSION

Our core focus is to conduct high-quality research and rigorous impact evaluations through comprehensive situational assessments, including baseline, midline, and endline studies, as well as feasibility and needs assessments. These efforts inform the design, development, and implementation of evidence-based processes, systems, products, training programs, and interventions that address real-world challenges.

We are committed to supporting skills development, capacity strengthening, and entrepreneurship, particularly among marginalized and vulnerable populations. Drawing on expertise from the  agricultural, social, biological, and environmental sciences, as well as engineering, our multidisciplinary approach enables us to tackle complex development and sustainability challenges from multiple perspectives.

By leveraging advanced technologies and analytical tools—including Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS), GeoAI, machine learning, and data-driven methodologies—we generate innovative and actionable insights to support decision-making. Our work is dedicated to fostering inclusive, resilient, and sustainable solutions that improve the lives, livelihoods, and well-being of communities disproportionately affected by climate change, environmental degradation, and ecological fragility.
