The Strengthening Livelihoods of Poor Farmers through Inclusive Value Chain Development (SLVFIVCD) project, Phase II, is being implemented by the Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB) in Jalirpar and Nanikhir Unions under Muksudpur Upazila of Gopalganj District in South-central Bangladesh.
The target communities are predominantly smallholder and marginalized farming households whose livelihoods depend heavily on climate-sensitive subsistence agriculture.
The project aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable women and men by reducing unequal power relations and creating inclusive economic opportunities through the development of selected agricultural value chains.
